Resurfacing and infusion, without contact — a clinical facial reimagined

JetPeel is a non-contact resurfacing and infusion treatment that uses pressurised oxygen and saline to cleanse, exfoliate and deliver bespoke active ingredients deep into the skin — without needles, without scrubbing, without downtime. We offer two protocols: a 30-minute Basic treatment for hydration and refresh, and a 45-minute Advanced treatment with the full four-step protocol including booster infusion. Strong as a single visit, more transformative as a structured course.

Introduction

A genuinely different kind of facial

Most "medical facials" are some combination of cleansing, exfoliation, mask and product application — delivered topically, working at the surface. JetPeel is structurally different. It uses TavTech's patented pressurised jet technology — a precisely controlled stream of oxygen and saline delivered at supersonic speeds — to cleanse, exfoliate and infuse active ingredients into the skin without ever touching it.

The contactless approach matters. Conventional facials rely on mechanical scrubbing, suction or chemical activity at the surface; JetPeel delivers actives at controlled depth without physical contact, which means less irritation, no risk of cross-contamination, and meaningful penetration of serums that would otherwise sit on top of the skin.

At AEOM, JetPeel is one of our most-booked treatments — both as a single-visit reset and as a structured course for patients addressing specific concerns. It's also the resurfacing component built into our Glow Reset, Skin Quality Programme, Collagen Rebuild and Regenerative Lift programmes.

HOW IT WORKS

The four-step protocol

JetPeel treatments at AEOM follow the manufacturer's clinical protocol — a four-step sequence designed to prepare, treat and amplify each step of the work. Our Advanced protocol delivers all four steps; our Basic protocol delivers an abbreviated two-to-three step version focused on hydration and exfoliation.

Step 1

Lymphatic Massage A pressurised stream of JetCare Hydro (a sterile, mineral-balanced hydration solution) is delivered across the face from approximately 4–7cm at a controlled angle. The effect is gentle lymphatic drainage — supporting skin micro-circulation, reducing puffiness, and preparing the skin to receive subsequent active ingredients. Most patients find this step deeply relaxing.

Step 2

Exfoliation A targeted exfoliation step using clinical-grade actives — typically Glycolic Acid (at 5%, 10% or 16% depending on skin condition and concern) or a Mandelic & Salicylic combination for sensitive or acne-prone skin. The acid is delivered through the JetPeel handpiece, allowed to dwell for 5–8 minutes, then thoroughly cleansed. Skin is now optimally primed for active absorption.

Step 3

Infusion The treatment phase. A bespoke active serum is delivered into the skin using the same pressurised jet technology — at closer range (0.5–0.8cm) and through narrower handpieces for precision. The serum is selected based on your skin condition and concern.

Key serums in the JetCare Anti-Aging and Selective Care ranges include:

  • Wide Range Hyaluronic Acid — for hydration, plumping and barrier support
  • Peptide Complex — for collagen and elasticity support
  • Witch Hazel & Peptides — for tone, clarity and gentle astringent effect
  • Argireline® Complex — for expression line softening
  • Lightening Complex — for pigmentation and tone correction
  • Growth Factor — for regenerative skin work
  • Soothing Complex — for sensitive, reactive or rosacea-prone skin
  • Clear Complex — for active acne and breakouts

Step 4 — Booster Infusion (Advanced protocol only) The final step in the Advanced protocol. A JetCare Boost serum is delivered in a final infusion pass to amplify the treatment's primary outcome:

  • JetCare Boost Hydrate — for deep hydration
  • JetCare Boost Glow — for radiance and brightness
  • JetCare Boost Regenerate — for cellular repair support
  • JetCare Boost Tight — for firming and lifting

The protocol is structured so each step builds on the last. Skipping any step — as cheaper "JetPeel" services often do — produces meaningfully weaker results.

WHO IT'S FOR

Who JetPeel is right for

JetPeel is one of the most versatile treatments we offer. Different protocols address different concerns — at consultation, we'll match the right combination of exfoliation, infusion and booster to what your skin needs.

Well-suited for patients dealing with:

N

Dehydration and dullness — the most common indication; JetPeel is exceptional for hydration

N

Fine lines and early ageing — particularly with Peptide Complex or Argireline® infusions

N

Loss of tone and elasticity — Advanced protocol with Tight or Wide Range HA boosters

N

Acne and breakouts — Mandelic & Salicylic exfoliation with Clear Complex infusion

N

Post-acne scarring and texture — Glycolic Acid exfoliation with Growth Factor or Peptide Complex

N

Pigmentation, sun damage and uneven tone — Lightening Complex protocols

N

Couperose and sensitive skin — Soothing Complex protocols, including for rosacea-prone skin

N

Pre-event skin — single Advanced session 5–7 days before a wedding, photograph or important occasion

N

Scalp and hair concerns — itchy, dry, oily or flaky scalp; thinning and shedding (see Scalp & Hair section below)

JetPeel may not be the right treatment if you have:

K

Active cold sores or open skin infections in the treatment area

K

Recent (within 2 weeks) chemical peels or laser in the same area

K

Open wounds, sunburn or compromised skin barrier

K

Active eczema or psoriasis flare in the treatment area

K

Pregnancy — most JetCare protocols are not delivered during pregnancy; speak to us at consultation

BASIC OR ADVANCED — TWO PROTOCOLS

Choosing between
Basic and Advanced

We offer two JetPeel protocols at AEOM. Both use the same technology and the same JetCare ingredient range — but they differ in length, depth and what they're designed to achieve.

The honest summary:

JetPeel Basic is the right choice for patients wanting a high-quality hydration and resurfacing treatment as part of a regular skin care rhythm, or a pre-event reset. It's a clinical-grade facial that delivers more than a typical spa equivalent — but doesn't go as deep as the Advanced protocol.

JetPeel Advanced is the right choice when you're addressing a specific concern (pigmentation, acne, loss of tone, post-acne texture) or building a structured course. The full four-step protocol with booster infusion produces meaningfully more visible change, particularly across a course. It's the version included in our Skin Quality Programme, Collagen Rebuild and Regenerative Lift programmes.

If you're unsure, book a consultation — we'll guide you to the right protocol based on your skin and your goals.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Before, during and after

Before

Consultation and skin assessment

Consultation and skin assessment: Every JetPeel patient begins with a consultation where we identify your skin type (normal, dry, oily, sensitive, combination), the primary concern we're addressing, and the right protocol combination. For Advanced courses, we typically include Observ 520x imaging.

Preparation: No specific preparation is required. Avoid sun exposure for 48 hours before treatment. Come with clean skin, no makeup. If you've had recent chemical peels or laser, tell us at consultation — we may need to space treatments.

During

The session

JetPeel Basic (30 minutes total):

  • 0:00–0:10 — Lymphatic massage with JetCare Hydro
  • 0:10–0:20 — Exfoliation with selected acid; brief dwell time; cleanse
  • 0:20–0:30 — Infusion of selected active serum; aftercare advice

JetPeel Advanced (45 minutes total):

  • 0:00–0:15 — Lymphatic massage with JetCare Hydro
  • 0:15–0:25 — Exfoliation with selected acid; dwell time; cleanse
  • 0:25–0:35 — Infusion of selected active serum
  • 0:35–0:45 — Booster infusion with selected JetCare Boost; aftercare advice

The treatment is genuinely comfortable. Most patients describe a gentle cooling sensation across the skin, with the lymphatic massage being particularly relaxing — many fall asleep. There's no pain, no needles, no contact with the skin at any point.

After

Recovery

Immediately: Skin appears visibly more hydrated, brighter and slightly plumper. Mild flush is normal for up to an hour. No marks, no bruising, no downtime.

24 hours: This is when JetPeel tends to look its best — settled, glowing, with full active ingredient absorption. Many patients book JetPeel for the day before an event for exactly this reason.

3–5 days: Visible glow gradually settles. Skin still typically looks healthier than baseline.

2 weeks: Single-session effects largely returned to baseline. Course-based effects continue to compound across sessions.

RESULTS

What results actually look like

JetPeel produces immediate visible change — more so than most other resurfacing treatments. The combination of lymphatic drainage, exfoliation and active infusion delivers a same-day improvement in skin appearance that few other treatments match.

Single-session results: Immediate brightness, hydration, smoother texture and a visible "glow." Lasts approximately 1–2 weeks before gradually returning to baseline.

Course-based results: This is where JetPeel produces structural change. A course of 6 Advanced treatments delivered to the manufacturer's recommended cycle (1–2 times weekly for 3–6 weeks) produces measurable improvements in skin condition, with compounding effects across sessions. By the end of a course:

N

Hydration and elasticity meaningfully improved

N

Texture smoother and more refined

N

Pigmentation reduced (when treated with Lightening Complex protocols)

N

Acne and post-acne marks reduced (when treated with Clear or Growth Factor protocols)

N

Fine lines softened (when treated with Peptide or Argireline® protocols)

Maintenance: After a completed course, maintenance treatments every 3–4 weeks sustain the work. Many patients move from a course onto a monthly Basic protocol as ongoing maintenance.

THE RECOMMENDED TREATMENT CYCLE

The protocol most patients follow

Following the manufacturer's clinical protocol, optimal results come from a structured cycle rather than ad-hoc visits.

Phase 1 — Initial Course (3–6 weeks)

Six treatments delivered 1–2 times per week. Each session uses a different combination of exfoliation acid, infusion serum and booster — building the treatment around your specific concern across the course.

Phase 2

Maintenance Single treatments every 3–4 weeks, using a maintenance protocol tailored to your ongoing needs.

For patients addressing a single concern (e.g. pre-event skin, post-summer reset), single sessions or shorter courses of 3 sessions work well. For patients addressing structural concerns (loss of tone, pigmentation, post-acne scarring), the full 6-session Advanced course is the right pathway.

JETPEEL FOR SCALP AND HAIR

JetPeel for
scalp and hair concerns

JetPeel is also delivered as a scalp treatment — addressing dry, itchy, oily or flaky scalp conditions, supporting hair follicle health, and creating an optimal environment for hair regeneration.

The protocol

Scalp treatments use a modified two-step protocol — lymphatic massage and active infusion — using the JetCare Selective Care Scalp & Hair complex, often paired with regenerative or hydrating boosters depending on the indication.

Recommended cycle

Ten treatments delivered once weekly across ten weeks, followed by maintenance every 3–4 weeks. The longer initial course reflects the timeline of hair follicle response to clinical intervention.

Particularly effective for
  • Itchy or sensitive scalp — Soothing protocols with regenerative boosters
  • Dry, flaky scalp — Hydration-focused protocols
  • Oily scalp — Glycolic acid exfoliation with hydration boosters
  • Hair thinning — Combined with PRP for scalp; the JetPeel creates optimal conditions for PRP absorption and follicle stimulation
  • General scalp health as part of a hair restoration pathway
Pricing for scalp & hair treatments

follows the same Basic/Advanced structure as facial treatments. For patients combining JetPeel with PRP for hair, we offer the scalp JetPeel as a same-day add-on at preferential pricing — speak to us at consultation.

What JetPeel won't do

JetPeel is excellent at what it does — but it has clear limits.

It won't restructure skin in the way microneedling or Sofwave does.

It works at and just below the surface, supporting hydration, tone, texture and active ingredient delivery. For deeper collagen-stimulating regenerative work, SkinPen Elite microneedling is the appropriate treatment.

It won't lift skin or address laxity.

For non-surgical lifting, Sofwave is the appropriate treatment.

It won't address volume loss or replace fillers

— JetPeel works on skin quality, not facial structure.

It won't fix severe acne scarring in a single course.

It supports skin condition and texture, but ice-pick scarring and significant atrophic scarring need microneedling, PRP or laser-based interventions.

Single-session results are temporary. For lasting change, a course is what produces structural improvement.

We'll be honest at consultation about what JetPeel will and won't do for your specific concern.

JETPEEL COMPARED — HOW IT'S DIFFERENT

JetPeel vs
other resurfacing treatments

JetPeel vs HydraFacial

HydraFacial uses a vacuum-based handpiece that cleanses, exfoliates and infuses through skin contact. JetPeel uses pressurised oxygen and saline delivered without contact. The contactless approach produces less irritation in sensitive skin, allows more precise depth control, and eliminates cross-contamination risk. Both produce similar same-day brightening; JetPeel's depth and serum range give it more clinical versatility across concerns.

JetPeel vs Microneedling

Different mechanisms entirely. Microneedling creates controlled micro-injuries to stimulate collagen at the dermal level — strong for texture, scarring and structural change, with 24–48 hours of downtime. JetPeel works at and just below the surface, with no downtime, focused on hydration, tone, active ingredient delivery and visible refresh. They're complementary, not competitive — and frequently used together across our programmes.

JetPeel vs Chemical Peels

Traditional chemical peels apply acids to the skin and leave them to work; JetPeel uses pressurised delivery of acids combined with thorough cleansing and active infusion. The result is comparable exfoliation with less irritation, more precise control, and immediate active ingredient delivery in the same session. For patients with sensitive skin, JetPeel is typically better tolerated.

JetPeel vs Traditional Facials

Traditional facials rely on cleansing, manual massage and product application. JetPeel uses clinical-grade actives delivered at controlled depth via pressurised infusion — producing results closer to clinical skin treatments than spa work. It's not a relaxation facial (though it's relaxing); it's a clinical resurfacing and infusion treatment.

COMBINE WITH

Treatments that combine well
with JetPeel

JetPeel + LED Light Therapy

LED added immediately after JetPeel amplifies active ingredient absorption and supports skin recovery. Often included at no additional cost with course bookings.

JetPeel + SkinPen Elite Microneedling

Used together in our Collagen Rebuild programme. JetPeel between microneedling sessions optimises skin condition and accelerates recovery — supporting collagen stimulation while maintaining surface skin quality.

JetPeel + Profhilo / Skin Boosters

JetPeel and Profhilo target different layers (surface and dermal) — combining them produces hydration, elasticity and quality improvements that compound. Typically delivered 1–2 weeks apart.

JetPeel + Sofwave

Sofwave for deep structural collagen stimulation; JetPeel for surface skin quality and active infusion. Built into Regenerative Lift.

JetPeel + PRP

For scalp and hair restoration work, JetPeel paired with PRP is a particularly effective combination — JetPeel preparing the scalp and supporting follicle health, PRP delivering the regenerative work.

Frequently asked questions

Is JetPeel actually different from other "medical facials"?

Yes — meaningfully so. JetPeel is a patented, FDA-cleared technology using pressurised oxygen and saline to deliver actives without skin contact. Most "medical facials" combine cleansing, manual exfoliation and product application. JetPeel's contactless delivery, depth control and clinical-grade JetCare ingredient range produce results closer to clinical skin treatments than spa-grade work. The trained delivery and full four-step protocol in our Advanced treatment are also what separate AEOM JetPeel from cheaper alternatives that abbreviate the protocol.

How often should I have JetPeel?

For initial results, the manufacturer-recommended protocol is six treatments delivered 1–2 times weekly across 3–6 weeks.

After this, maintenance treatments every 3–4 weeks sustain the work. For patients using JetPeel as a regular skin care rhythm rather than addressing a specific concern, monthly Basic sessions work well.

What's actually in the serums?

Our JetCare serums use clinical-grade active ingredients across multiple categories — hyaluronic acid complexes for hydration, peptide complexes (including Argireline® Complex) for collagen support and expression line softening, lightening complexes for pigmentation, soothing complexes for sensitive skin, growth factor complexes for regenerative work, and clear complexes for active acne. At consultation we select the right combination of exfoliation acid, infusion serum and booster based on your skin and goals.

Will JetPeel help with my acne?

Yes — the Mandelic & Salicylic exfoliation paired with the Clear Complex infusion is specifically designed for active acne, and we typically deliver this as a course of 6 Advanced treatments. JetPeel is particularly effective for patients whose acne is partly driven by congestion and inflammation; for severe nodular or cystic acne, additional medical treatment may be more appropriate — we'll discuss at consultation.

Is there any downtime?

None. JetPeel is one of the lowest-downtime resurfacing treatments available. Skin may flush mildly for up to an hour after treatment, then settles. You can wear makeup, return to work, and resume normal activities immediately. Many patients schedule JetPeel during a lunch break.

Is JetPeel safe for darker skin tones?

Yes — JetPeel is suitable for all Fitzpatrick skin types (I–VI). The contactless delivery and lack of heat or light energy mean low risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. This is a significant advantage over many laser-based resurfacing treatments.

Can I have JetPeel during pregnancy?

Most JetPeel protocols are not delivered during pregnancy due to the active ingredient profiles used (particularly glycolic acid and salicylic acid combinations).

A small number of pregnancy-safe protocols may be available — speak to us at consultation if you're pregnant or trying to conceive.

Can I add JetPeel to other treatments on the same day?

Yes, with some sequencing. JetPeel pairs well with LED on the same day. It's often delivered immediately before or after microneedling, Sofwave or PRP as part of a structured visit or programme. We'd recommend speaking to us about combination treatments — sequencing matters.

Will JetPeel help with my pigmentation?

For mild-to-moderate pigmentation (sun damage, post-inflammatory marks, uneven tone), JetPeel Advanced courses using the Lightening Complex protocols are genuinely effective — typically a course of 6 with monthly maintenance.

For deeper or hormonal pigmentation (melasma), JetPeel can be part of the pathway but may not be sufficient alone. We'll discuss what's realistic at consultation.

How do AEOM's JetPeel treatments differ from cheaper "JetPeel facials" elsewhere?

Three things matter: the protocol, the serum range, and the practitioner.

Many clinics offering JetPeel skip steps from the manufacturer's protocol (delivering an abbreviated treatment as a full session), use generic serums rather than the full JetCare range, or have practitioners trained in skincare more broadly rather than JetPeel specifically. Our Advanced protocol delivers the full four-step sequence with the proper JetCare ingredient range, delivered by our trained clinical team. The price difference reflects the protocol difference.

Where is AEOM located?

Our clinic is at 116 Seymour Place in Marylebone, London.

Marylebone, Baker Street and Edgware Road stations are all under ten minutes on foot. Free street parking is available after 6.30pm, with paid bays on York Street nearby — daytime parking is reimbursed for treatments over £200. Treatments are by appointment only.

Ready to discuss JetPeel?

JetPeel is one of the most versatile clinical skin treatments available — but the right protocol depends on what you're trying to achieve. Book a consultation and we'll match the right combination of exfoliation, infusion and booster to your skin and your goals.
